Veil of Venus Cleanser and Mask

A transformative veil of loving comfort for your skin, evocative of sultry summer days ripe with sweet. tart fruit and blooms. This formula reminds me of quiet seasides and enchanting corners of Vermont lush with green forest where you may stumble upon a farm stand bursting with strawberries.

This mask is the very definition of botanical alchemy. A process that weaves together plants that are intended to restore, hydrate, and replenish the skin using optimal methods for extraction.

It transforms magically from a pretty pink powder to milk by slowly adding water, a tea or hydrosol. Infused into this mask are the following botanicals:

Hibiscus

• Vitamin C rich
  
• Mucilagenous
  
• Reduction of inflammation due to antioxidant properties
  
• AHAs to gently slough away dead skin cells to support glowing skin

Marshmallow root

• Emollient to soften and soothe
• As similar to hyaluronic acid due to it's mucilage content, a humectant plant carbohydrate that pulls water into the skin.
  
• Supportive to reparation of the skin barrier

Rosa Rugosa

• Cooling and supportive to heat associated conditions
• Aromatically supportive to the nervous system
  
• Circulatory properties supporting healthy blood flower of the skin

 Strawberry

• Aromatically supportive to the nervous system
  
• Softening to the skin
• Slightly astringent and hydrating supporting a variety of skin types
• Gently sloughs away dead skin cells

Colloidal oats

• Soothing
• Gently exfoliating
• Supports reduction of oil through absorption

Ingredients:

Local VT Strawberry, gluten free colloidal oats, hibiscus, rosa rugosa, marshmallow root.

Available in a 1oz and 2.3 oz clear glass jar with lid.

To use as a mask:

Blend equal parts powder and water, slowly adding the water to a dish and blending into a plump milky consistency. After cleaning the skin, mist with a hydrosol and apply the mask. Allow the mask to work it's magic for at least 20 minutes, take a few moments and close your eyes so you can breathe in the scent of strawberries and fragrant blooms. Remove the mask with a warm soft washcloth. Seal in moisture with a hydrosol based toner and oil based serum.

To use as a cleanser + gentle exfoliant:

Blend equal parts powder and water, slowly adding the water to a dish or the palm of your hand. In gentle, circular motions, upwards apply to the skin. Remove with a soft warm washcloth. Seal in moisture with a hydrosol based toner and oil based serum.
